With only a few days to go before the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special gets streamed on Disney+, we thought this was a good opportunity to remind The Holo-Brick Archives’ readers that these holidays are going to be very special thanks to LEGO and Star Wars.
You can still celebrate the holidays in a galaxy far, far away with LEGO Ideas competition that ask the builder to produce a holiday scene using either (or a mixture of) a Millennium Falcon, TIE Fighter, X-Wing Fighter, AAT, AT-AT, Jedi Interceptor or 501st Legion Clone Troopers set.
Since launching on October 15th, there have been over 500 entries (that’s double since our last reminder) and with ten days left to run there’s still time to get a couple hundred more entries in.
Do you stand a chance of winning great prizes, including 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, 75275 A-Wing Starfighter, 31200 The Sith mosaic, 75318 The Child, both Star Wars Brick Sketches sets, 75292 The Razor Crest and more?
Don’t forget that LEGO is encouraging families to get creative and give the gift of play to a child-in-need by making a holiday ornament out of LEGO® bricks as part of its Rebuild the World campaign’s #BuildtoGive activity.
It’s easy to get involved and spread some festive goodwill. Families simply need to build a fun, festive ornament or decoration out of LEGO bricks, take a photo of it and share it on social media or LEGO Life using the hashtag #BuildToGive before the end of December.
For every holiday creation shared on social media using the hashtag #BuildtoGive, the LEGO Group will donate a LEGO set to a child-in-need giving up to one million children in hospitals, children’s homes or vulnerable communities globally the chance to play this holiday season.
If the Christmas spirit firmly has you in its warm and cheery grips then don’t forget that the new LEGO Star Wars Keepsake ornaments from Hallmark are available to add to your tree.
I don’t suppose there is a UK retailer of the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments?? At the moment, everything that is of interest to me is for certain markets only or deal with ridiculous postage or scalpers to get what I want.
I don’t think Hallmark has a license to sell these outside of North America. Have you tried ordering on Amazon.com and having them delivered to you? I had a quick check and it looks like it’ll work.
Thanks for that but postage to the UK is 80% the cost of the item so it is not worth it to me. It is a pity though as they would look great on my Darth Vader Christmas Tree…
