There are already a dozen or so Factivity books from DK. Most of them are more factual (rocks, bugs, the human body, dinosaurs, space, animals, etc), others cover fictional topics like super heroes, comic characters and movie franchises and six of the Factivty books LEGO themed. This one is the first Factivity book for LEGO Star Wars and though typically DK releases these titles right before school holidays to help parents entertain and stimulate their kids through the school break this title came out in time for Star Wars Day.
Broken into five sections, each coloured coded, to help target key physical, social and intellectual milestones in children’s development the book’s sections are Read and Create (yellow), Draw and Learn (orange), Fact Challenge (red), Test Your Knowledge (green) and stickers (blue).
Combining entertainment and learning the LEGO Star Wars Factivity Collection leads kids to pages and pages of puzzles, games, crafts, and doodle ideas that are all about stealth education (ssshhh!). Every page is designed to be completed to create a customised book that he reader will want to keep.
This is packed with fun LEGO Star Wars activities and while your little padawans learn about the Star Wars universe in LEGO style you can enjoy knowing that they are bettering their reading, writing and co-ordination skills.
