Han Solo Sets & Title Reveal

You might recall that back at the start of July we shared news that the LEGO Han Solo sets would start reaching retail shelves in late April, 2018. Now we have a clear break down of what is to come thanks to a leaked trade catalogue, and to save you a bit of time we have pulled out all the details for you:

In the catalogue there are five generic grey boxed sets depicted, scaled from largest to smallest, with a release date of April. Below is an indication of box size and not a suggestion of contents:

  • 75212 – largest box, typical of hero vehicle (Millennium Falcon)
  • 75211 – large box; typical of general vehicle (X-Wing Fighter)
  • 75210 – medium box; typical of small vehicle or play set (Landspeeder)
  • 75209 – small box; typical of batte pack
  • 75207 – smallest box; typical of MicroFighter

There are also two buildable figures being associated with the new spin-off too:

  • 75535 unknown set
  • 75536 unknown set

These, along with the 75537 Darth Maul buildable figure, are slated for an April release according to the catalogue. Given that the first wave of The Last Jedi sets includes a Chewbacca buildable figure it is safe to assume that one of these is Han Solo, and possibly an adversary – though not Darth Vader or Boba Fett as these sets are already shown in the same leaked catalogue.

And while the catalogue is clear that all the images are preliminary we know from experience that the set depictions don’t change much but sometimes the titles do. With that said you can take the revelation that the official name of the untitled Han Solo spin-off is none other than Han Solo: A Star Wars Story with a pinch of salt.

Rebelscum believes that once The Last Jedi furore dies down we’ll start hearing more about the next Star Wars anthology movie, which stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamois, that is set to hit theaters May 25, 2018.
