Initial speculation on distribution concentrated on a May 4th promotion but Zusammengebaut.com – and a few other European LEGO blogs – have received an official communiqué that the promotion will start on January 1st. There’s no info on the trigger mechanism, nor how widespread the promotion will be but judging that the news is being disseminated by LEGO-approved sites in Europe it’s fair to say that it will initially be concentrated in this region first.
