AU News: Dreamworld Certified Store Marks May 4th

Good news to any LEGO Star Wars fans within cooee of the Gold Coast because the LEGO Certified Store at the Dreamworld theme park is marking May The 4th Be With You with the Australian unveiling of 75181 UCS Y-Wing Starfighter and are giving away the 40288 BB-8 polybag.

The 75181 UCS Y-Wing Starfighter is priced $299.99 and the polybagged BB-8 – while stocks last starting when doors open on the May 4th – is free when you spend $120 or more. There is no word if the purchase must be on LEGO Star Wars items.

The LEGO Certified Store is located at the entrance of Dreamworld, just next to the turnstiles and is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. As it is a standalone shop there is no requirement to buy tickets to the park in order to gain entry to the LCS.

Don’t despair if you aren’t within reach of Dreamworld because the LEGO shop@home website is running the same promotion in Australia, but the qualifying purchase must be equal to or greater than $100 in LEGO Star Wars merchandise. So if you don’t want to burn petrol – and at +$1.50 a litre why would you? – you could purchase your 75181 UCS Y-Wing Starfighter online and get it delivered for free.
