Splashed across the internet today is the news that The Skywalker Saga, which was accidentally revealed by This Week! In Star Wars to have an October 20th release date, is being delayed until Spring 2021.
Originally announced at E3 in June 2019, the game has suffered continued delays, confounding fans and LEGO themselves, who released a number of sets – including 75292 The Razor Crest – with special codes that unlock some of the 500 playable characters.
Further adding confusion is a press release from Warner Bros. Games publicity partner, Koch Media, whose statement declares an Autumn 2021 shelf date.
Presumably, this is a typo with the original (unreleased) document stating an Autumn 2020 release, instead of the officially declared Spring 2021 window when the standard and deluxe versions will be made available on the Xbox One/Series X, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4/5, PC, and Mac.
