With images of a number of new Mos Eisley cantina alien minifigures trickling out over the last month or so the coming reality of this set was never in doubt, but today’s slip-up on the LEGO South Korea Facebook page (which was quickly taken down) has given scale to the upcoming set.
Though the image quality is low, a close look reveals that this 3187 piece set comes with 19 minifigures (including Doctor Evazan, three members of the Modal Node band, Garindan the Imperial spy, the mouse-like Kabe, Kardue’sai’Malloc the devil-faced Devaronian, an unidentified Saurian, Wuher, as well as the expected Rebel droids, Jedi hermit, moisture farmer, Jawas, smugglers and stormtroopers), a dewback with watering hole, as well as V-35 and Ubrikkian 9000 landspeeders.
Sharing the leaked image with a translation service reveals that 75290Mos Eisley Cantina will have a September 16th release date. It is assumed that the VIP logo indicated that members of the rewards program will gte early access – but whether September 16th is the VIP early access or worldwide release date remains to be seen.
