77904 Nebulon-B Frigate Officially Confirmed For November 14th!

After much speculation, nail-biting and worn-down seat edges the announcement that all true LEGO Star Wars collectors have been waiting for is here – the ex-San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Nebulon-B Frigate (77904) will be available to order next Saturday.

Posting on their Facebook page earlier today, LEGO shared the news that the set will go up on Amazon.com and LEGO.com at midnight on November 14th.

Because this is exclusive to North America, those readers not in Canada or the US will be getting bounced to their local LEGO Facebook page, and so – just for you (everyone else, look away now) we have reproduced the LEGO announcement.

While it goes without saying that the Nebulon-B Frigate set will be available “while stocks last” it’s worth noting that with two massive retail networks geared up to distribute this to eager fans, it would seem likely that fear of this set running short are ill-founded, and if collectors moderate their buying habits there will likely be plenty to go around.

Special thanks to Marc M, resident LEGO expert and docent at Rancho Obi-Wan, for sending in the news and providing the links and pics above.

How do you feel about this set? Will you add it to your collection or pass? Are you a fan of exclusives or would you prefer to have them made available to all? Share your comments below.

  1. Pass. Collecting should not be about where you live or who has the biggest overdraft after being scalped on ebay. This set is a chance missed!!!

  2. Really annoyed with LEGO on this and Bespin. These are not convention exclusives, these are 40th anniversary branded and sets targeted at AFOL collectors and LEGO is exposing their non US customers to scalpers and frauds. They have an online store that can limit purchases and charge shipping fairly, I believe LEGO are being disingenuous with customers in these cases by making them regional exclusives which they know the negatives on already.
