Known as the Oscars of the toy industry, the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards are presented annually to the top toys, games, and properties of the year – and this year’s nominations are out just in time to affect the “what’s hot” lists this Christmas.
Of the sixteen categories, LEGO has been nominated for a staggering eight awards while Star Wars has placed in four. Fans of the LEGO Star Wars cross-over theme will be happy to learn that 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport (AKA The Razor Crest) has been shortlisted in the Construction Toy of the Year section.

Selected from 557 nominees that were submitted by 205 companies, 18 judges will review the 112 nominations and announce the results in February, 2021.
