The folks over at Lucasfilm HQ in San Francisco get the honor of revealing the newest LEGO set from The Mandalorian today, in the most recent episode of This Week In Star Wars – and they’re not redacting the reveal this time!
In the video, which presenter Kristin Baver explains is a preview from next week’s Mando Mondays product reveal, the new 75299 Trouble on Tatooine features key elements from season two’s premiere episode – Chapter 9.
This 279-pice set includes the speeder bike The Mandalorian borrowed from Peli Motto at Hangar 3-5, a Tusken tent and campfire that opens up to reveal an interior living space, a spring-loaded missile-firing ballista for Krayt dragon hunting, and three minifigures: The Child, a Tusken Raider and The Mandalorian in beskar armor.
The set, which was outed last week via Promobricks.de, is part of next year’s Winter Wave and is expected out just before Christmas 2020 in Europe and early January 2021 in North America.
Stay tuned for all the details – including an interview with the set’s designer – on Starwars.com next Monday.
