Whether the rumored November 14th release date for the ex-San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 77904 Nebulon-B Frigate is true or not, it seems a number of LEGO Discovery Centers in the USA are stocking them early!
Reports have reached our ears, via the Bantha Bricks group on Facebook, that a number of LEGO Star Wars fans have been able to buy these – for $39.99 – at official outlets in LEGO Discovery Centers in greater Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta.
With this set’s brief appearance on Amazon.com last week, and at LEGO stores in the USA now, it’s pretty certain that it – like 75294 Bespin Duel – is only going to be exclusively available in the United States. On the plus side, it would seem it will have multiple stockists which could indicate that production numbers will be greater than the expected 2500 units, so keep on eye on LEGO.com where it will hopefully pop up soon.
If you are super-keen on adding this set to your collection and don’t try your luck when it becomes publically available you could turn to eBay.com, where a number is currently available.
A long overdue set deserved of a full retail release. I just hope that everyone who wants one can get one without having to pay eBay prices.
