Making its third appearance in LEGO form on the 20th day of Advent is the shield generator from the Rebel Alliance’s base on Hoth.
Having been neglected for the first 20 years of the Star Wars license, the shield generator that protected Echo Base on Hoth – and ultimately gave the presence of the Rebel’s away to the Empire – appeared twice in 2019 before it took a rest for most of 2020.

A very well designed set with the tiny number of pieces used. Again, it is obvious what it is and fits in well with the Snowspeeder from earlier in the month. I could be a smarty pants and bring up the first appearance of the Shield Generator in set 75098 in 2016 but I am better than that…
