LEGO Begins To Reveal Summer Wave Sets

When the news that LEGO had inadvertently published a new Japanese-language catalog on their website the double-page spread traveled around the globe like a giant wave, and no one expected that LEGO would begin the reveal of the sets – which feature crucial vehicles and scenes from The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian – less than 24 hours later.

Also included in the Summer wave is 75314 Bad Batch Attack Shuttle which got its big reveal earlier this month when it was featured on This Week! In Star Wars a few days after Star Wars Day.

This next selection of sets – which has been unofficially dubbed the “TV wave” – fulfills a lot of fan desires, also includes an Imperial Troop Transport (75311) which comes with minifigures of Greef Karga, a Mortar Stormtrooper plus two regular Stormtroopers, a new Slave I (75312) which is believed, based on image of a new Boba Fett minifigure, to be based on the second season of The Mandalorian as well as 75315 Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser that includes Grogu, Din Djarin, Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Moff Gideon and Dark Trooper minifigures.

In addition to these new playsets is the next LEGO Star Wars advent calendar (75307) which, as predicted, has a strong The Mandalorian focus, and if rumors are to be believed there is a retailer exclusive Beskar Forge coming later this year too.

These confirmed sets will be available buy from August 1st, 2021. Expect to see more reveals on LEGO coming soon – and likely additional coverage on the first official LEGO CON at the end of the month.
