The Skywalker Saga To Get Live Reveal Next Wednesday!

The world’s largest gaming event and video game trade fair, Gamescom, is right around the corner – and its opening night ceremony will include a new look at the game we’ve all been waiting for – LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

As announced by video game journalist and television presenter, Geoff Keighley, via his Twitter page, the game’s first-ever reveal will take place at Gamescom. Traditionally the event is an in-person one but has gone digital for the last two years, allowing fans from all around the world to enjoy the content.

The opening night live stream will start at 8 PM CEST / 7 PM BST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT on August 25th (or 2 AM NZST / 4 AM AEST on August 26th if you are in New Zealand or Australia), though exactly when the reveal will take place is unknown.

Oddly, there is no word of the launch on the Tt Games or WB Games Twitter accounts, and Keighley’s initial post only got a retweet on the official LEGO Star Wars Video Game account on Twitter.

Fans have long suspected that the long-delayed game was getting closer to release – clues like the recent addition of the next-gen versions of the game pointed to something significant happening – and with this news, the hope that The Skywalker Saga will see the light of day before the year closes has been rekindled.

Don’t forget to come back to The Holo-Brick Archive where you can keep up to date with the game’s development and release history – hit the blue notification bell in the bottom right corner to get alerted whenever we post new content.
