Although LEGO Star Wars apparel has been around as long as the theme itself, it wasn’t until last year that LSW branched into Halloween costumes! It was Disguise, a leader in the Halloween industry based in San Diego, that took the plunge.
Last year Disguise released basic, classic, and deluxe versions of Darth Vader and Stormtrooper minifigure costumes. Although they were slated to be on shelves in North America, Australia, and New Zealand, COVID put a damper on most Halloween festivities which meant that costumes weren’t in high demand.
However, with October right around the corner, a couple of new additions should be showing up on the costume rack in time for All Hallows Eve this year. Adding to the lineup are minifigure versions of Boba Fett and Yoda.
Become your favorite Star Wars bounty hunter this Halloween in our awesome Boba Fett Lego Child costume! This costume features a structured foam bodice with cool and colorful sublimated art across the front. It comes with a dimensional half mask with a translucent, black visor built in. It also includes a pair a foam hands that are shaped just like LEGOs. This is the perfect costume for anyone who is into LEGOs and Star Wars. Just add your own pants and shoes and you’re ready to go! Don’t miss out on this awesome costume!
While it is shown on Walmart.com, it is listed as Out of Stock so for anyone looking for the costume this year turning to eBay is likely the only option. For North America at least it has also been labeled as a Walmart exclusive so no other retailer is likely to carry it.
Get this kids size deluxe Yoda outfit and be the wisest Jedi knight in the entire galaxy! Costume includes foam bodice, matching pants and a Yoda mask with a translucent visor, and a pair of foam hands that are shaped just like LEGOs. This kids Halloween costume is made of soft, breathable material that is safe and comfy to wear at home or with friends. For Trick or Treating or for home use, this child size Yoda costume is sure to get likes on social media and real life.
Interestingly only the Yoda costume appears on the Disguise website and has been scaled back to just two versions this year: Classic and Deluxe. The only difference between the two is the inclusion of a pair of pants.
Whether for collecting or for costuming these two are neat additions to this sub-category of LEGO Star Wars apparel. What do you think next year’s additions may be?
