With less than three months left in the year, the chance of new 2021 information has been replaced by a steady trickle of 2022 rumors. However, just when you think you’ve got all the news LEGO throws a curveball.
Earlier today it was noticed that a new item popped up under the instructions portion of LEGO.com. The new set – with a 2021 release year – is listed as 66674 Skywalker Adventures Pack. A quick check confirms that it has also been added to the Brickset database.
As you can see from the screenshot taken from the site, the actual instructions have not yet been released. That means there is still time for some speculation as to what this set could be.
The logical starting point is to look at similar numbered sets. While there are several sets that fit the numbering scheme, there have been three listed this year.
- 66666 LEGO Masters Co-pack 4 in 1 (11006, 11007, 11009, 11012)
- 66671 Mech Armor Collection 3 in 1 (76168, 76169, 76171)
- 66678 Minifigure, Marvel Studios (Box of 6)
According to Instagram user lego_club_news who has been a reliable leaker throughout the last year the set will contain 644 pieces. This would rule out a Star Wars minifigure series box similar to 66678, but we already knew that one was unlikely. That leaves two collection packs which would fit with the set’s name.
If that was the case then a few options could be included. Looking at currently available sets with Luke Skywalker in it suggests some combination of the following:
- 75270 Obi-Wan’s Hut – 200 pieces
- 75271 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder – 236 pieces
- 75298 AT-AT vs. Tauntaun Microfighters – 205 pieces
- 75301 Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter – 474 pieces
It seems likely that this set will either be a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 value pack based on the piece counts above. Now it is just a waiting game to see when the news officially breaks.
Reddit user niceguytop10nwords suggests that the set may only be available in some markets. It is unclear if this information is factual or just a theory, but the set is listed on North American, European, and APAC versions of the website which makes that unlikely to be the case.
What do you think about this new set? Is it a way to try and clear out old stock before retirement? Will there be something new released?
UPDATE:
LEGO has now uploaded an image for the new set which confirms that it will include 75270, 75271, and 75269 Duel on Mustafar which has been listed as Out of Stock on the website.

I think it’ll be a box full of Luke Skywalker parts and you have to build as many complete Luke Skywalker minifigs within a minute. The winner gets to keep the box for flipping on eBay in about 10 years earning enough to buy themselves a new car
Good thought! I’ll take two!
