Making its first appearance in The Mandalorian during the second season’s second episode (The Passenger) when a security patrol attempts to interdict the Razor Crest, the New Republic X-wing Fighter is the day 8 novelty in this year’s Advent calendar.
Following the fall of the Galactic Empire after the death of Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi, the New Republic’s defense force became the de facto peacekeepers – utilizing Rebel Alliance equipment left over from the civil war – in the galaxy.
Weighing in with 28 pieces, this mini-scale model – while similar to previous versions – is unique and proves how creative the designers at LEGO are.
