It’s the season to go big – and Hallmark has done just that with their latest Keepsake LEGO Star Wars minifigure ornaments of Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, new for 2021!
You’d think that something that doesn’t come with instructions (you just hang them on your Christmas tree, right?) wouldn’t need a review, but these trinkets appeal to fans of Hallmark ornaments and LEGO Star Wars and that means they’re collectibles, and in this day and age that means opinions!
Relive some of the most iconic moments in Star Wars history (with a twist) while celebrating the galaxy’s most cheerful and magical holiday, Life Day! Fans of the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special will love these Christmas tree ornaments that feature Darth Vader and Stormtrooper minifigures – wearing a festive sweaters – in signature minifigure styling.

The most villainous villain in the history of movie villainy gets the ugly Christmas sweater treatment in this upscaled facsimile of Darth Vader in the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, which aired on Disney+ last year.
Captured in mid-stride, sculptor Jake Angell creates the appearance that this ornament is articulated. It’s not! Styrene, a naturally occurring organic polymer that has been used by Hallmark for the last 30 or so years, makes up most of the ornament, with flexible rubber being used for Darth Vader’s cape.

Appearing as a Target-exclusive plush doll in time for Christmas 2020, this stormtrooper ornament comes adorned with a traditional ugly sweater depicting a knitted Imperial roundel.
Even though a Stormtrooper minifigure isn’t heavy on detail, the Hallmark Keepsake ornament does a great job of catching the curves and lines of this iconic foot soldier.
These ornaments maintain the minifigure look at 140% of the normal scale and are made of lead-free plastic. They are both available at Hallmark.com for $16.99 (MSRP) each, and members of Hallmark’s Crown Rewards program get free shipping in the United States.
