A slew of reports has come in confirming that the newest addition to the mini-scale subtheme – 30495 AT-ST polybag – has been found at general retail in the United States, which is great news for LEGO Star Wars collectors who, until now, have had to resort to buying +300% marked-up sets on eBay and Bricklink.
Numerous members of the Bantha Bricks group on Facebook have declared their discoveries, with most finds occurring in Walmart stores across the United States alongside Meijer in the midwest and the occasional Target store. Readers in Canada can look to Toys “R” Us, where it is also in stock. You can use the Brickseek.com website to check up on Walmart stocks in your area
All sources indicated that the polybag, which is priced at $4.99, can be found on the impulse pegs in the toy section.
In addition to bricks and mortar finds, one member shared word it was briefly available on the Walmart website. It’s gone now, and the only one showing up in stock is via a third-party seller who has more than doubled the price. Online shoppers in Canada can order theirs via toysrus.ca, which still have quantities available.
Will this polybag frustrate collectors like the mini 30388 Imperial Shuttle that had random and localized appearances across the United States and Canada for the first few weeks of 2021 before getting an unremarked global launch in time for May The 4th Be With You?
