The Minifigures Of 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room Gather

Among the sands of Tatooine sits Jabba’s/Bib’s/Boba Fett’s Palace. The surprise scene at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2 sees Boba Fett end Bib Fortuna’s reign and gain control over the palace which begins the journey that would be the plot of The Book of Boba Fett.

It is this scene that inspired 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room. The set generously includes seven minifigures of which five are brand new and introduces two new alien species into the LEGO Star Wars family.

Bib Fortuna

Bib Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt’s majordomo. This male Twi’lek was a weak-minded but faithful servant of Jabba, and subsequently took over the throne after his passing.

Previously we covered the various versions of Bib Fortuna in his dedicated Mini Steps feature. After his execution at the hands of Boba Fett, it was possible that we would see another version created but it was no guarantee. Now we can add obese Bib to our collections!

The character is a complete update from the version released in 9516 Jabba’s Palace. The most striking aspect of the character is the new Lekku design. It has been bulked up to represent the extra weight that Bib has put on. His new torso print shows his blue inner robe and black cloak as well as some additional adornments. The leg printing is also new and carries down his robe and cloak prints. For the first time he has been given dark blue hands which is more accurate to his on-screen appearance.

Boba Fett

The name speaks for itself. He is one of the coolest bounty hunters in the galaxy and his appearances in The Mandalorian, as well as The Book of Boba Fett, have given viewers considerably more Fett action.

This version of Boba Fett was first found in 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship. The contrast of the green and yellow markings stands out against his black garments, and he joins only three other versions to have come with arm printing.

While the helmet mold is the same as prior versions, the printing did get updated to new shades of green and yellow. Unfortunately, this is a critique that many fans have commented on saying the helmet should have been made darker green itself. He also received a unique head print. Boba is completed by the addition of his Z-6 jetpack. With his cycler rifle at hand, he is ready to face anyone who steps in his way.

Fennec Shand

Fennec is an assassin/bounty hunter first introduced in Season 1 of The Mandalorian and then written into The Bad Batch. Through The Book of Boba Fett we see her at the right hand of Boba as she helps him clean up the streets of Mos Espa.

The Book of Boba Fett gives viewers some insight into Fennec’s background although still not much is known. After saving her life by taking her to The Modder, Fennec remains indebted to Boba Fett. Compared to the version included in 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser, this one comes with a hairpiece in place of her helmet.

She dresses all in black and wears brown gloves and boots that have orange detailing on them. Although the leg printing primarily depicts the kama that she wears, there are orange lines on the arms to represent her glove pattern. The torso printing is also unique and shows off her waist sash and padded vest well. She is equipped with an MK sniper rifle.

Gamorrean Guard

These green-skinned, pig-like creatures came from the Outer Rim planet of Gamorr. Living in clans and although their society was matriarchal, the male Gamorreans leader was selected based on physical prowess and combat abilities.

The Gamorrean Guard was also covered in a Mini Steps feature. The Gamorreans shown in The Book of Boba Fett show a lot more skin than the ones that Jabba kept, so a redesign was inevitable but surprisingly the design wasn’t as different as initially expected.

The same sandwich board headpiece that was used on the prior version was brought back, but the printing was updated with slightly more detail. The torso underneath is blank reddish-brown with olive green arms and reddish-brown hands. The legs are the most significant update coming with an entirely new print to represent the brown fur skirt and leather sandals and strapping that they wear.

Quarren

The Quarren are a squid-like species who live on the aquatic planet Mon Cala along with the Mon Calamari. While this patron does not have an official name, we can see him lurking in the background at Jabba’s Palace.

Recent years have bought us many new alien species in LEGO form. This Quarren is another new design which is particularly exciting and opens up more opportunities for other versions to appear in future sets.

Quarren’s have four facial tentacles that extend from the lower portion of their face and two projections from either side of their heads which house hearing organs all of which is captured in the new head element. Both the torso and leg printing is exclusive to the character.

Theelin Dancer

Although unnamed in the set, this character appears to be Rystáll Sant who is a singer/dancer in the Max Rebo band. Apparently, she stuck with Bib after Jabba’s demise, so it’s lucky she caught Boa Fett’s attention in Return of the Jedi after performing Jedi Rocks..

Rystáll is a human-Theelin hybrid, so she utilizes a standard minifigure head and body albeit with unique prints on each part. Instead of the dark pink costume she is wearing in Return of the Jedi, she has a white and light blue jumpsuit. The feet on the minifigure are printed with a hoof-like pattern which is consistent with Theelins.

The head print illustrates her classic markings which include the colored spots and the three horns on each side of her head. The most striking feature is her bright pink hair which is one of the species’ characteristics. This hairpiece has been used on a few other minifigs but comes in dark pink for the first time.

Weequay Guard

The Weequay are native to the desert planet Sriluur which was under the control of the Hutts. Many Weequay were mercenaries, pirates, and bodyguards for the Hutt Clan. Not all Weequay were bad though as some were in the Jedi Order.

This Weequay is another unnamed character that was found in the Palace presumably leftover from Jabba’s reign. While there have been a few Weequay LEGO minifigures, we have not gotten one since 2017 in 75174 Desert Skiff Escape.

Interestingly this minifigure is a downgrade from the prior version because instead of printed legs, this one comes with plain reddish-brown legs. The torso print is new and shows off the long braided hair that many Weequay had. The head print is also updated with a much better expression than the last.

Packed with seven minifigures – five of which are new – this set is a good grab for the money. With LEGO giving more attention to obscure characters it also gives hope for more to come!
