With the full Spring wave about to arrive, it’s not surprising that talk is now turning to the Summer wave, which is due out at the start of August, and thanks to slip-ups by an online retailer in Germany and the LEGO instructions portal a pretty conclusive list with prices and part counts has started to circulate.
Most of these rumored sets have been mentioned before, but with the two sources adding important details – which has been compiled by zusammengebaut.com – they’re all pretty much on the cusp of being confirmed.
Popping up for the first time is set 75303, which joins 75331 in the mystery column. While the former is a set that has no additional details assigned to it, the latter has been given a price point of US$529.99, putting it in the Master Builder or Ultimate Collector Series end of the spectrum.
Confirmed by a trusted source of The Holo-Brick Archive who has seen a retailer catalog page with a some of the upcoming sets, the 1022 piece 75323 Cade Bane’s The Justifier at €159.99, is being tipped to be a tie-in for the second season of The Bad Batch, which is due to air on Disney+ this year.
For the younger end of the market, 75332 AT-ST, at 87 pieces and with a €29.99 price tag, will fulfill this year’s addition to the 4+ theme. Whether it is derived from The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Rogue One or The Mandalorian is anyone’s guess.
Equally vague is 75333 Jedi Starfighter, a 282-piece set that has a €29.99 price tag. It’s not yet known if this will draw from Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, or The Clone Wars, nor which Jedi pilot it will include. However, rumors are saying it includes a Taun-We minifigure, which – if true – would mean it’s sure to have an Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure and make it an Attack of the Clones set.
Pegged to complement the new Kenobi live-action series are sets 75334 – which is known to be a 408 piece playset (at least according to one of our sources who has seen a retail order list) and is priced €49.99 – and 75336, which is made up of 924 pieces and priced €99.99 and said to be the Grand Inquisitor’s starship, has been confirmed by our trustworthy anonymous source as being called The Scythe.
Those who like to build large-scale droids won’t be left out. The previously rumored 75335 BD-1, the droid that befriended Cal Kestis in the Jedi: Fallen Order video game, is stated to have 1062 pieces and be priced at €99.99. This set’s validity is supported by the upcoming 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, which includes a minifigure of a BD unit droid.
Originally believed to be from Attack of the Clones and assigned 75336 as a set number, 75337 AT-TE is now purported to be the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer of the 212th Attack Batallion that was led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Cody. Rumors state that it will come with four 212th clone troopers and two battle droid minifigures, as well as a dwarf spider droid. There is no mention of a Commander Cody minifigure. The set is said to have 1082 pieces and a price tag of €139.99.
With so little known about the Andor live-action series, which is due to be streamed on Disney+ in mid-to-late 2022, it’s likely that leaks about set 75338 will reveal more about the show than the show’s marketing campaign will share about this €69.99 rumored set
Finally – and aptly – the last set rumored for the Summer wave is this year’s 75340 Star Wars Advent Calendar. While its existence is a no-brainer, new details have emerged that it will contain 329 pieces and will cost €34.99. Gossip that the next Advent calendar will have a single theme have yet to be substantiated.
