When you buy a new car the dealer always throws in a few sweeteners – tinted windows, floor mats, air fresheners and fuzzy dice spring to mind – and LEGO is no different, because they’ve just shared word of another offer that’s only available with the purchase of the new 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, which goes on sale at midnight.
The limited edition print (shown on the right in the image above) is capped to 5000 copies worldwide, measures 10.25 x 6.50 =inches (26.0 x 16.8 cm) and costs 3500 VIP points. The second print (on the left) is the same size and costs 650 VIP points. There doesn’t seem to be a known quantity for the second print, which suggests it’s less-than-limited.
Both posters can only be purchased with VIP points – and only when you are buying the new 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder set, so make sure to log in as a VIP and check the rewards center before you push your order through.
There have been significant issues with the accessibility of these prints, with shoppers in Australia/New Zealand and the United Kingdom unable to access them, while those in North America and mainland Europe have had some success.
Available stocks ran out very quickly and profiteers are already selling them at marked up prices on the secondary market.
While we wait for LEGO to sort this yet-another-launch-day-mess out, there is a collection of images – costing 10 VIP points – that are intended to be used as a computer wallpaper but are a suitable resolution for printing.
