After getting an accidental sneak peek on Wednesday due to a mistimed email, LEGO has announced that the latest Ultimate Collector Series set – 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder – will be out in time for the May The 4th Be With You celebrations.
Getting its grand reveal on This Week In Star Wars, the first-of-its-kind, super-sized, 1890-piece model of Luke’s personal transport will be released on May 1st for members of the VIP Rewards program and May 4th for everyone else.
Designed to withstand the toughest terrain in the galaxy, will it withstand the fickleness of the LEGO Star Wars fanbase who are already bemoaning that a) they didn’t want a UCS landspeeder, (b) that six landspeeders in 23 years is already too many, (c) its yet another Original Trilogy set and why can’t there be more from the Prequel Trilogy and (d) LEGO have included an exclusive minifigure with it?
