Walmart has just revealed an unexpected set for the last quarter of 2022. However, the contents aren’t new.
Value packs and co-packs were popular in the early days of LEGO Star Wars when production numbers outpaced demand leaving leftover stock. Then came the days of 3-in-1 Super Packs where retail sets would be bundled together but came in new cardboard packaging.
The 3-in-1 packs were phased out by 2016, and replaced by 2-in-1 bundles that contained two battle packs. These were short-lived, however, and the last one came in 2018. Two years without any combination packs made it seem as if the concept had passed.
That was until 66674 Skywalker Adventures Pack was released last year! Although not listed as a Super Pack it clearly re-ignited the interest in this sort of combo packaging. WIth a significant discount compared to the three sets individually it made sense for variant hunters as well as anyone who hadn’t previously picked up the sets.
Which brings us to this year! Walmart has released 66708 Galactic Adventures Pack which features 75299 Trouble on Tatooine, 75310 Duel on Mandalore, and 75311 Imperial Armored Marauder.

Children will love teaming up with The Mandalorian and a Tusken Raider for desert missions with this LEGO Star Wars Trouble on Tatooine set (75299). Although the set is listed at $79.97, it has already been discounted to $50 which makes it a no-brainer if you are at all interested in it. While last year’s pack was listed on LEGO.com, this one so far appears to be exclusive to Walmart.
