The basic details of the three LEGO Star Wars mechs were announced several months back but other than the characters, piece count, and price not much else had been reported. The rumors had the characters in the wrong order and the price ended up a dollar higher but close enough!

First up is Darth Vader. Overall it is not a bad looking mech although it would have been much better with a cloth cape. The minifigure’s body will match prior versions. Whether it is a new version for minifig collectors will be dependent upon if Vader is assembled with a cape or not.

Boba Fett is easily the most surprising of the three. The mech has a nice design with good part selection to capture the coloration. The included minifigure is a new version with excellent arm printing and will make a much more affordable option for those wanting one with printed arms.

The last of the three is the Stormtrooper mech. This one seems a little chunky compared to the other two. However, the Galactic Empire logo on the front of the chest looks pretty nice and the brick-built blaster fits the size. The included Stormtrooper has the same body as the Han and Luke from 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor.
All three mechs will be available for purchase starting August 1st at US$15.99 / CA$19.99 / £12.99 / 15.99€.
