Manhattan Toy Company has been putting out LEGO Star Wars plush toys for the past couple of years, and after a one year break there are now three more to add to the count for 2022.
Joining our Soft Toy category are plush versions of an Ewok (Wicket), R2-D2, and The Mandalorian. These join Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Yoda, Stormtrooper, Rey, and The Child.
Compared to prior characters, these three are significantly more expensive retailing for $31.50 each at Target and $31.99 each at LEGO.com. Since you can earn VIP Points on purchases from LEGO this may be the better route unless you have a Target RedCard. Either way based on trends with the other plush toys, you may have a chance at finding these at a discounted price in the future.
With these additions, the Soft Toy subtheme grows to a total of 13 characters to collect! Although these are not likely to sell well with adult collectors, there may still be enough of a market with kids to continue to support production of future characters.
