Whether this was a scripted reveal or not, neither host Carboni or Woods added any detail about the title, and both Lucasfilm and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) failed to comment.
The slip-up was quickly spotted by Brick Fanatics and later picked up by Prima Games, the video game guide publisher who has written game guides on all the previously released LEGO Star Wars titles to date.
Additionally, Eurogamer adds that they’ve:
“heard this next game is more than just an adaptation of the saga’s remaining two episodes, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. While these episodes will be included, the project is designed to tell the story of the entire saga and I’ve heard it described as the “ultimate” Lego Star Wars game.”
With the last LEGO Star Wars game covering the events in The Force Awakens, fans of the titles have been asking for a continuation of the storyline for over a year and with this news it’s possible that both Rogue One and Solo will get rendered.
Look out for news later this year, and if WBIE keep to their regular schedule we should be seeing this become available this time next year.
