These novelty products have been a subtheme of the LEGO Star Wars license for nearly as long as the theme has existed. As part of the LEGO promotional line they follow a different – and varying – designation system to standard set numbers, and have likely produced more product variations than any other subtheme. For the most part, key chains are exclusive to LEGO.com and their branded stores.
