Attempting to save Han Solo from the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca and the redeeemed Lando Calrissian infiltrate the crimelord's stronghold, while Luke Skywalker, now a fully trained Jedi Knight, delivers an ultimatum - that eventually comes true - to free their captured colleague. Reunited, they return to the Rebel fleet who are preparing a final assault against the second Death Star; one that will see an end to the Empire's tyranny. Penetrating the enemy's stronghold on the forest moon of Endor, Han, Leia, Chewbacca and the droids find themselves heavily outnumbered. Allying with the indigenous Ewoks they perform a daring attack on the Empire's fortifications, while - far above - Luke faces not only Darth Vader, but the Emperor himself in an ultimate battle of wills.
