Fresh out of Germany, thanks to Promobricks.de, is the news that there is at least one more collectible magazine on newsstands in Europe – for this month at least.
Described by Promo Bricks as a bi-monthly LEGO Star Wars comic, this 32-page issue released under the LEGO Action banner – which can be bought throughout the Eurozone (Germany, Austria, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Ireland and Greece) plus Switzerland – was released earlier this week.
Similar to the bi-monthly LEGO Star Wars Megazine published in France by Panini Kids during 2017/18 or the bimonthly MEGA Magazine (Immediate Media, UK) that periodically features LEGO Star Wars content, this bumper comic comes with a cover-mounted R2-D2 minifigure and brick-built MSE Droid foil bag (the same that was available in the March 2020 edition of LEGO Star Wars Magazine in the United Kingdom) and contains bundles of comics and a pullout double-sided poster.
From first appearances, there is nothing new to this publication – the comics are reprints, the foil bag has been previously released and the poster (which are facsimiles of The Phantom Menace and The Attack of the Clones theatrical posters given out at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim in April 2015) – and is likely to be a mechanism to cheaply get rid of excess minifigures and mini-builds.
The next issue of LEGO Action is due out in October, and no indication of whether it will continue delivering LEGO Star Wars content has been given.
Just to let you know the Batman Lego figure item: 212220 has faulty part ie left wing is missing and two right wing parts supplied in packet.
