Will The Rumors Ever End?

With the Winter wave still three months away there’s plenty of time to add some more ingredients to the latest batch of rumor soup, and today’s additions include adding three vine-ripened playsets, two dashes of accessory sets and reducing the concoction by one helmet.

These latest alterations come via Instagram where brick_clicker, lego_fulcrum and lego_club_news have made a few adjustments to what we could see this December (if you’re in North America) or January (for those that are bound to Europe), if you are prone to believing everything you read on the Internet.

There is no way to tell exactly what these sets are, but good money is on the Death Star Battle Scene being between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi while Yoda’s Training could be a complementary set to 75208 Yoda’s Hut, which came out in 2018, and at the forecasted $80 might even include an X-wing. With only a post-credit glimpse of Jabba the Hutt’s/Bib Fortuna’s throne at the end of the last season of The Mandalorian to go by, it’s just too early to guess what Boba Fett’s palace could contain.

Conflicting with our earlier predictions is word that one of the set numbers is now being attached to the rumored Boba Fett’s Palace, suggesting that there will be only two helmets next year, giving us the following lookahead:

• 75322 Hoth AT-ST
• 75324 unknown
• 75325 unknown
• 75326 unknown
• 75327 X-Wing Pilot helmet
• 75328 The Mandalorian helmet

• 75330 Yoda’s Training
• 75341 UCS Landspeeder

Perhaps most curious of all is the two accessory packs that are causing confusion within the community. In a post that appears to depict mock-ups rather than a serious attempt to represent the product, no light is shed on what these may be.

The suggestion that these accessory packs are like those that are part of the Xtra collection or may contain small builds similar to those that came with the early issues of the LEGO Star Wars magazine are popular explanations.

While no set numbers have been assigned by LEGO (or the rumor mongers), a price tag of $15 has been associated with these mystery additions, which have been pegged to come out in January.
